For over a hundred years, the brewery Gebrüder Maisel has been made about the future. In fact, the story tells of the impressive company, the development of a regional brewery to one of the leaders Weissbier breweries in Germany for themselves. And the values of a traditional family brewery lived.

Weissbier-TraditionIn 1887, the family of Hans Eberhardt Maisel and founded the house. They set up at the gates of Bayreuth a modern brewery and so the basis for very successful companies settled Dehoy day. In the midst of the Great Depression of the 1920s he took over the company, Fritz and Andrew, sons of the founding brothers who ran the brewery business. Fritz Maisel was ultimately who led since 1936 at his own risk.

 

 
 

In 1955 he met with his sons Hans and Oskar a momentous decision: the introduction of a wheat beer, which became initially called under the auspicious name "champagne wheat." In fact, Maisel's Weisse is a trendsetter for Weissbier in Germany and the regional brewery Gebrüder Maisel is a recognized specialty brewery whose beers are appreciated beyond the borders of Germany.
 

Inhaber Jeff MaiselMeanwhile, the fourth generation with Jeff Maisel took over the fortunes of the brewery, which rotate with the spirit of the ancestors. The love for the product and the highest craftsmanship characterize the brewery in the present as well as the excellent quality of the beer.
